TRANSFERMATE GLOBAL PAYMENTS NAMED ‘NATIONAL WINNERS’ FROM THE IRELAND CATEGORY AT THE EXCLUSIVE EBA EVENT
TransferMate Global Payments was named one of 11 National Winners from 77 businesses representing the Ones to Watch in Ireland at an exclusive event held at the British Ambassador’s residence in Dublin for The European Business Awards, Europe’s largest business competition, sponsored by RSM.
TransferMate was chosen by a panel of independent judges including senior business leaders, politicians and academics as the best in their country in the Awards’ category of The Germany Trade & Invest Award for International Expansion and they will now go on to represent their country in this category in the final stage of the competition.
TransferMate’s Sinead Fitzmaurice said:
When TransferMate was founded in 2010, the key focus was to build a best-in-class currency settlement solution delivering three key aspects: savings, speed and the removal of burdensome administration by using the most innovative proprietary technology platforms. Since then, we have heavily invested in extending our global regulatory footprint, proprietary technology and banking network. Eight years on, having grown to over 200 employees across Ireland, Europe, Australia, and the US, it is with great pleasure to be recognised among the best companies in Europe. Our recent investment from AIB and key strategic partnerships will be instrumental in the coming months as we expand further into new markets, with emphasis on our export product. We see this as an untapped revenue stream for TransferMate and as a simple solution for businesses collecting payments around the world.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said:
This is an amazing achievement and TransferMate is clearly a stand out leader in their field. To be a National Winner means you represent our core values of success, ethics and innovation and are one of the best in Europe. We wish you the best of luck in the final round.
Founding and Managing Partner of RSM Ireland John Glennon said:
We work with our clients to support their growth ambitions, at home and abroad, so we recognise the value of participation and success on a European stage such as that provided by the European Business Awards. As a champion of middle market businesses, we are continually impressed with the standard and diversity of the businesses operating in Ireland and, through the global RSM network, we are very well positioned to support and drive their international growth plans.
Speaking at the Awards in Dublin, Julian Caplin Transaction Advisory Services Partner with RSM Ireland, congratulated the winners;
It is evident that as business leaders you all exude real passion for what you do, and it is that passion that has helped to drive your business success. At RSM we share that passion – we are excited by what we do in providing valued business advice to support you in realizing your ambitions.
The National Winners from each country will face further judging in their chosen category, and the final Category Winners will be announced at the European Business Awards Gala Final in Warsaw, Poland in May 2018.
The European Business Awards is now in its 11th year and its primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe. Last year it engaged with over 33,000 businesses from 34 countries. Sponsors and partners include RSM, ELITE and PR Newswire.
