Gary Conroy holds over twenty years’ experience across technology and financial services companies such as Goldman Sachs, Misys Financial Software Systems, and Axway. Subsequently Conroy served as managing director of Realex Payments following the company’s acquisition by Global Payments in March 2015 for €115m in one of the largest deals in European FinTech history. Gary was core to scaling the business from an Irish-focused SME with 500 customers to a truly global technology company operating with 15,000 customers across Europe and America, processing over €35 billion annually. Gary Conroy, joined TransferMate as Chief Commercial Officer in August 2017.
TransferMate currently processes more than €8 billion in transfers, with International Payroll accounting for €16.4 million of this in 2017, a considerable 32% year on year growth in this sector.
